Susan Fernald, adopted at birth in 1953 by a wonderful island couple, was raised in a historic summer inn and restaurant during the height of the baby boom. Fernald, Susan L.: – Susan Fernald washed ashore on Cape Cod from Nantucket in 2004; still close enough to visit her beloved Nantucket for parties, events and visiting friends. She has been writing about food and food-adjacent subjects for Edible Cape Cod magazine since 2007 and is also a Certified Holistic Health Coach. She loves to travel, often to concerts, and to California three or four times a year to see her son and his family. She lives in Hyannis with Daphne, her rescue cat of ten years.
