About the Author
Larry Magid’s 60-plus-year career in music and entertainment began in 1962. He opened the legendary club Electric Factory, where Hendrix, Joplin, Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa, Cream, Elton John, and the Who all played. In 1985 Magid co-produced Live Aid, the world’s largest music event. He continues to produce tours today and is a two-time Tony Award winner. He has co-produced “Billy Crystal: 700 Sundays,” and “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical,” among others.
