About the Author
Dr. Loren Cordain is the founder of The Paleo Diet, a New York Times bestselling author, and an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Health and Exercise Science at Colorado State University. Over his celebrated 33-year career, Dr. Cordain has contributed to more than 68 peer-reviewed publications in medical, nutritional, and scientific literature, focusing on the many forms of the ancestral human diet and exploring which modern foods are healthy and unhealthy (all available free on ResearchGate.com). Dr. Cordain is author or coauthor of seven books, including The Paleo Diet, The Paleo Diet for Athletes, Real Paleo Fast & Easy, and The Real Paleo Diet Cookbook, as well as dozens of incisive articles on ThePaleoDiet.com.

Trevor Connor, MS, is the CEO of The Paleo Diet, LLC, which owns and operates The Paleo Diet(R) program, The Paleo Diet website, two industry-leading food certification standards, a full branding and cobranded licensing program, and all related intellectual property rights affiliated. Connor was Dr. Cordain’s final graduate student and his research focused on the field of bioenergetics and how inflammation effects the gut-brain axis. Dr. Mark J.
