Along the way, inspired by the song of the loneliest whale to ever live, she meets scallywags, pirate hunters, fish killers, and a modern-day Blackbeard, Edwin Finch Odershop (“Chop”), a South Carolinian searching for the same resolution as Hannah – love’s lost harmony.

The Book of Ribbner is at all times a religious allegory of humanity’s battle for its soul in the age of Al.

Vergnolle, Ronnie: – Ronnie Vergnolle grew up roaming barefoot through the South Carolina wilderness, exploring his mystical connections with nature until the gravity of modern digital life slowly pulled him away from his connectedness. After earning a BA in English literature from the Citadel and a JD/LLM from Duke University Law School (Go Blue Devils!), he pursued an entrepreneurial career, ultimately culminating in the sale of the business he created with his wife, Britt.
